share your world, i’m sharing mine

It will be interesting to see how many variations on “share your world” I can create as titles for this challenge. I’ve made it part of the challenge 😉  This is a challenge hosted by Cee Neuner of It is four questions for you to answer each week plus a bonus question of what you are grateful for this week. Questions are in black and my answers, in purple.

Ever ran out of gas in your vehicle?     No but every other thing that can go wrong in a car, has.

Which are better: black or green olives?     Green, pickled and stuffed.

If you were a great explorer, what would you explore?     Being an explorer has a different meaning for me since I saw The Revenant with Leo di Caprio. I know Leo was a guide and not an explorer but that lifestyle doesn’t look like it’s for me.

I’m happy exploring anything. A new book, the park down the block, the internet, a new recipe, and the list goes on…

Quotes List: At least three of your favorite quotes?

These are the quotes that get me motivated.

If you hear a voice within you say “You cannot paint,” then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.”   Vincent Van Gogh

“Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.”   Winston Churchill

“Don’t say you don’t have enough time.  You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein.”   H Jackson Brown Jr.

What am I grateful for this week?     I’m grateful for family, visitors, great company, good music, good food and just happy to be alive.
